Howdy Halloween and cosplay enthusiasts!

 

The Texas Haunters Convention™ is a cash and carry style two day Halloween convention targeting Halloween and cosplay fans.

It is geared towards haunt owners, industry professionals, home haunters, families, trick or treaters, and just anyone who loves the Halloween season.  It is open to the public!

In addition to accessing the convention floor to take advantage of our exhibitor offerings, attendees will be able to participate in demonstrations, classes, make n’ takes, and other events. 

We want to make sure you enjoy the convention as much as we have enjoyed putting it together for you.

Attendee Registration

Online attendee registration starts March 1st, 2025, and lasts through the convention dates.

Terms of Registration

  • Registration payments and sales are final at the time of purchase.
  • Registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • There is a fee for replacing lost or stolen passes or wristbands.
  • All merchandise must be picked up at the convention at our merchandise booth.  Merchandise will not be shipped.
  • You must individually register for all classes, even as a VIP, due to limited space.
  • Dates and times are subject to change without notice.
  • All attendees must be prepared to show a valid Photo ID at registration or when a pass or wristband is used to enter an area or event.
  • Situations out of our control may arise that prevent a celebrity guest from appearing at the convention. We will announce cancellations as soon as we are made aware of them. Registrations will not be refunded in the event of a guest cancellation.
  • Conducting business by non-exhibitors is prohibited on the convention floor, in classrooms, or during events.  If you wish to become an exhibitor, please register as one.
  • Attendees causing a disturbance that is dangerous or interferes with the convention will be removed by management and/or security and barred from further participation in the convention or convention-related events.  This will be done without the right of a refund.  Please keep the convention safe and fun for all!

Onsite Registration Hours:

  • Friday, July 25th, 2025:
    • 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM
  • Saturday, July 26th, 2025:
    • 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Sunday, July 27th, 2025:
    • 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Convention Floor Hours:

  • Saturday, July 26th, 2025:
    • VIP Only: 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM
    • All Atteendees: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Sunday, July 27th, 2025:
    • VIP Only: 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM
    • All Atteendees: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM

  • Some events and activities occur the day before the convention and in the evenings of the convention.

    Parking

    An 800-space parking structure is attached to the venue.  The parking rate charged by the venue is $15.00.

    Additional parking is available within walking distance.

    Mass Transit

    For those who do not wish to drive, the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) has a rail stop on the orange line for the Irving Convention Center.

    Those flying into DFW International Airport can take the orange line from Terminal A to the Irving Convention Center station.

    WIFI

    • The venue provides free WIFI to attendees.

    Costumes

    While this is a family-friendly event, some exhibitors and attendees may be in costume. If you have small children, please take this into account.

    Attendees are permitted to wear costumes as long as they are not vulgar and do not create a disturbance.

    No real weapons or parts of real weapons may be used as part of a costume.

    Texas Haunters Convention™ reserves the right to refuse admission if they feel a costume violates these guidelines.

    Merchandise

    All merchandise must be picked up during the convention at our merchandise booth. 

    We are not able to ship items.

    Specialty Equipment Use

    WARNING: Special effects may be used in the convention exhibition hall, ballrooms, classrooms, and lobby areas.  This includes but is not limited to, the use of haze, mist, fog, scent distribution, strobes, fast flashing lights, lasers, and loud noises.

    Please take this into account before purchasing tickets or attending the convention.

    Food and Beverage

    Outside food and beverages are not permitted in the venue or at sponsored events.

    Concession stands will be available for purchasing food and beverages.

    A cash bar will be available during TABC serving hours and special events.

    Water stations will be available.
